Bridal Bliss

Thanks to all of our wonderful Nashville wedding vendors, as well as all the brides and their guests who made our 1st Bridal Bliss Night a great success. We transformed our "Stationery Sanctuary" into a cozy seating area for our guests. We had each vendor discuss what they do best, and we opened it up to the floor for questions and answers at the end of each vendor showcase. We've heard such great feedback that we're planning on hosting another one soon on more wedding topics!

Here are some pictures from the evening:

Here's a list of vendors who participated:

You're Invited Gifts, Paper and Events-we hosted the evening at the store. As a stationery store, as well as an event planning company, we offer one-stop shopping for brides.Sarah Smithson, with over 20 years in the stationery industry, offered a very informative discussion on stationery etiquette.

Bella Bridesmaid-sponsored a fashion show of the latest trends in bridesmaid's dresses for 2010

NicoandLala-Nicole and Lauren talked about some of the custom work they can do for a wedding. Some examples of their custom work are seen in the store, and you can make an appointment to discuss your wedding with them at the store!

(Stay tuned for a future blog to feature a video from Nashville Event Lighting and a showcase of some of their work).

Ashley's Bride Guide-Ashley stopped by to introduce herself to our guests and to do what she does best-discuss all things weddings. Ashley also mentioned two must-have wedding budget items for brides: hire a wedding planner (we hope you'll consider You're Invited Events) and having lighting at your wedding! Ashley said both are essential for a successful wedding.

Press play to see a video of Ashley (the size of the screen is small due to the large file size of the video):

Vicki from Branching Out provided examples of wedding florals.

Nashville String Quartet-provided our background music for the evening. Here's Shannon talking with brides about using a string quartet for your wedding ceremony.

Press play on the video below for a sample of their music.

Sweet and Sassy-provided cake samples in both buttercream and whipped icing for all our brides to sample.

Each guest received a "swag bag."
